Teagen lies close to the capital of Dearaldia , directly on the borders of the Girdle Woods. Though originally little more than a military staging area, the town became of significance when the Civil War erupted. Of strategic importance for Dearaldia's defence, large barracks were built to house four full companies.

When the War ended, Teagen lost its strategic importance, and was reshaped to facilitate the training of soldiers and officers for the Royal Asgardian Army. The village itself has little splendor, which reflects on its inhabitants. Projects are undertaken to boost the stagnant economy and improve the overall appeal of the village.
