Once a large and wealthy city, Taranath is now no more than a collection of decaying buildings and streets.

A catastrophe struck when the river flooded 32 years ago, killing many civilians nobles and merchants. The city also suffered heavily in the Civil War, when Fae and Elves fought a bitter struggle for supremacy within its streets. Most people simply moved away afterwards, claiming the city to be cursed. Some stayed, and both Elves and Fae are known to still linger within the ghost town.
