Floating Fungi are often encountered near the Aumrauth Forests, though they are known to roam in other forests too. Preferring dark, damp places, these fungi possess internal gaspockets that enable them to float along airstreams and spread out accross large areas. The fungi are extremely fragile and will often explode when toughed by a rough or sharp oject, such as a rock or treebranch. The sporesacks will burst open, scattering the spores around in a wide area. When this new enviroment is damp and mouldy enough, these spores will settle and eventually grow to form new Floating Fungi.

Insentient and senseless, these bloated fungi are often encountered during spring. They appear random, with no means of altering their current on the airstreams. Their explosion can form a deadly hazard to unwary bystanders, as do their entoxicating spores. It is best to move out of the way of these strange mushrooms and avoid any physical contact.
