The Northern Asgardian farmers fear three things above all else; droughts, landslides and Hornclaws. These enormous birds are known for their razorsharp talons and insatiable hunger.

The Hornclaw distincts itself from other birds with its bald tail and fleshy wattle that hangs from the underside of the beak, not unlike that of a turkey. It has broad wings and muscular legs, which it uses to trash the ground to find seeds or vegetables. Asgardian farmers often make use of enchantments, magical items or more primitive means to keep this pesky bird away from their crops.
