Lineage of Ratish

Ratish, his daughter Wana, and their granddaughter Tal'kinita form one of the five lineages of Heimrian gods . The others are four are the lineages of Danu , Gataur , Januri and Talor .

Ratish

Main article: Ratish

Ratish is the god of spirit, balance, battle, morality and freedom. He is the Invisible consciousness of all. Dogmator of morals. Keeper of balance. He gave the power of choice to the gods, needed Gataur and Danu to fall in love. He is generally silent and watchful and gets very zealous when mad. Ratish is a caring God, looking after his subjects and priding himself on their achievements, but also granting them the freedom of going their own way.

Wana

Main article: Wana

Wana, the brute is the god of sickness, hunting and of slaughter. The only god that is seen as evil in stead of neutral, because she is a cruel god. Wana is the dumb ugly ogre goddess and doesn't like that at all. She is generally cruel and hateful, and enjoys finding painful ways to kill people. If anyone is stupid enough to provoke Wana she becomes even more cruel and hateful. Her Angels are the ratmen, the bringers of sickness. The sickness the rats spread is actually a magical effect that, most of the time, discriminates between evil and good. Killing only those with a wicked streak. Her demons, the goblins, are one of the weaker demons of Heimr. To compensate for this weakness they are with many, and they multiply like rabbits. The goblins are cruel, swarming, and eat children.

Tal'kinita

Main article: Tal'kinita

Tal'Kinita is the goddess of decay, rest and ancestry. She was forbidden to split the Troll , and has not created a race of her own. Most trolls think that by eating their victims they gain strength; a misconception that they learned from Tal'Kinita. But most scholars think this is just an excuse for trolls to indulge in their desire to eat the flesh of the races of Heimr. Tal'Kinita is generally relaxed and finds almost anything amusing. Even when she is angry she usually remains her calm self and acts slowly

Deity Worship

Main article: Deity worship

The most common form of worship in Heimr is deity worship. By worshipping a god that god is given strength, which they need to protect their worshippers from the other gods. Worship is therefore considered a civil duty by many Heimrians. Worship is almost always mediated by priests. It is the job of the priests on Heimr to ensure that their followers pray regularly, and that the prayers as well as the divine energy that is released during prayer gets delivered to their god. Heimrians will most commonly worship the ancestral god of their own race, e.g. Wana was the first ogre so she is worshipped by ogres, even though the ogres were created by Ratish.
